HINDA HOLT (nee FLEISHMAN) 1922 - 2003 With great sorrow, the family of Hinda Holt announces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre, in Winnipeg last Saturday evening, September 20, 2003. A funeral service was held on Monday September 22 at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery where she is intered along side her beloved and devoted husband, Charlie Holt who passed February 19, 1998. She was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Samuel Fleishman, brothers, Hymie and Sidney and sister Beatrice (Bunnie). Dearly loved mother of her daughter Rochelle (Ruchel) Holt and partner, Tracy Bixel, and her son Mathieu (Matas) Holt, his wife Jessika and their daughter, Gabrielle Beth Holt. Hinda Holt is survived by her sister Ruth (Rivka) Chochinov and brother Lawrence (Larry) Fleishman. She will be also greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. An active and loving woman, Hinda Holt, enjoyed tennis, dedicated several years of volunteer service at the White Cross Guild, Health Sciences Centre and was an active member of BNai Brith. Hinda Holt will be remembered for her generous heart, quick wit, wisdom and strength. Donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
